Background
The Advisor Portal is a web platform that seeks to be a self-service, one-stop-shop for partners that utilize our programs, services, or other platforms. Our first goal is to rebuild the current Advisor Lab website to be a website that is a permission/role-based portal for access to the FSG Platform. This first iteration addresses Advisors specifically. The next iterations will serve and allow for TPAs, plan sponsors, participants, and individual wealth management clients to sign-in directly.
The Advisor Portal focuses on three main areas: acquiring clients, converting clients, and retaining clients. Existing functionality on The Advisor Lab site should be included and merged into one seamless site with enhanced UX and additional key features. Some additional features include CRM functionality (Calendar, email campaigns, automated workflows), document management, and enhanced reporting capabilities.
My Role
Customer Insights & Ideation
I partnered with project managers, sales teams, advisors to uncover insights and translate concepts into features that address customer behaviors and motivations.
Experience Strategy & Vision
I created frameworks and prototypes to share the vision, design principles, and IA strategy. This helped ideas gain alignment and drive decision-making.
Planning & Scope Definition
I defined the product with my project manager partner to balanced business goals and prioritized and negotiated features for launch and beyond.
Oversight & Coordination
I designed across and collaborated with multiple business teams to translate product features for each platform context
Design Execution & Validation
I designed for responsive screens using Adobe XD and other basic tools for defining journeys, wireframes, and prototypes. All the designs have were validated by advisors and stakeholders and passed to the dev team with proper design specs of material design and vue.js
Leadership
I designed up and presented works to gain buy‐in from executives, senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Gap Analysis
The GAP analysis is based on the inventory of features, tools, reports, views across current state Aspireonline.com, InvestDesign Center, TSM AWEB, TSM SWEB+, IMC, ePEG, and Advisor Portal.
